This website is totally dedicated to live seashell photography. Anyone, who is able to provide good quality photos of live seashells, is welcome to contribute and help us in this huge task. We prefer to show photos of shells in their natural habitat, but, if the photos show the shells in containers (aquarium or plastic) they are still interesting and will be included in this website, especially if there are no photos existing of a particular specie. I would like to thank all of the people who have already contributed many excellent photos that have been included on the Seashell-collector.com and Live-seashells.com websites. Also, many thanks to Jean-Pierre & Toni from Topseashells website, without their help this database project would not exist.

I have been honored to have a new scuba mate, Laurent Kbaïer, who specializes in macro photos, so we will be able to frequently update our high quality photos of live seashells. Some regular members will also be part of the team, such as, Serge Rolland from New Caledonia.
